Greetings,
I've been studying the TeleMega product in advance of a purchase. From what I've read in the documentation the TeleMega is capable of transmitting APRS packets such that it can be decoded with my TH-D7A or the MobilinkTNC. But in order to receive in-flight telemetry and voice altitude, speed, etc, I would need to use the TeleDongle or TeleBT which uses a proprietary protocol. Does it transmit both packet types in the same flight? Is my understanding correct.
All replies are greatly appreciated,
Gary

Greetings from a newbie user. I'm prepping for ARLISS and wondering if there can be more than one TeleBT communicating with a TeleMega at the same time. Redundancy has some advantages.
Cheers,

About 3 years ago, Rob Derstadt wrote some code to allow the use of a
suitable Arduino board as a 'companion board' that can attach to the
companion port on Altus Metrum products like TeleMetrum and TeleMega.
While I haven't personally tried out the code, and haven't heard from
Rob for a while, there's apparently some renewed interest. I just
forked Rob's project repository on GitHub and merged two outstanding
pull requests. If anyone is interested, the code can be found at
https://github.com/bdale/AltOSCompanion
Could be a great starting point for a school team that wants to hook up
some unusual sensors to a TeleMetrum and see data from their experiment
in the telemetry downlink. If anyone does something cool with this, be
sure to let us all know!

Hi all,
Help please. Just received a TeleBT and I don't see how to connect it to my Mac running 10.13.5 using the Bluetooth. If I plug in the USB cable I can connect to it. The laptop can "see" it, but the BT system preferences just says "not connected". With other devices you typically need to "pair" the device, but I haven't found any instructions on how to do that.
thanks,
Charlie
