Just as I got done testing this in 1.8.1, 1.8.2 came out — so, I retested and still have a bug report.
I flew another flight on my 29mm min-diameter rocket this weekend & the data views in AltosUI looked incorrect. The graphs & flight stats in AltosUI v1.6.8 looked correct, but both 1.8.1 and 1.8.2 look like at least the max speed & acceleration are wrong.
I tried both Windows & macOS and I’m seeing the same problem on both. I reinstalled v1.8.0 on a Mac and it still shows bad numbers. Is perhaps your new forward/backward filter added in v1.8 is messing with things? I’d really love it if you told me the altitude is being reported low, but it looks like the altitude is probably fine.
Here are screenshots from AltosUI of the same data file:

If it helps, here’s one of my data files where I see the problem:

Also, somehow my flight data file from this weekend got corrupted. I’m not sure if it was v1.8.1 that did it or something else. It worked fine until I started troubleshooting this problem, so maybe bouncing back & forth between AltosUI versions messed it up somehow. Here’s that file (now just shows zeros or bogus data in AltosUI): https://www.dropbox.com/s/dpn7x2t5npjtyrs/2017-09-16-serial-3288-flight-000… <https://www.dropbox.com/s/dpn7x2t5npjtyrs/2017-09-16-serial-3288-flight-000…>

Altus Metrum announces TeleGPS v2.0 and AltOS 1.8.2
Announcing TeleGPS v2.0
We're pleased to announce the next version of our GPS-enabled logging
radio tracker and beacon, TeleGPS version 2.0. This new version
incorporates the same higher power radio as TeleMetrum and TeleMega
for longer range.
TeleGPS is a compact GPS logging tracker. Using the same uBlox GPS
chip and 70cm transmitter as TeleMetrum V2 and TeleMega, it offers
excellent GPS reception and tracking performance. The 70cm transmitter
sends digital telemetry, APRS and radio direction finding
signals. Read more about TeleGPS here:

AltosUI and TeleGPS New Features
* Support for TeleGPS v2.0
* Accelerometer re-calibration user interface.
AltosUI and TeleGPS bug fixes
* Prevent some crashes when reading older saved flight data
for graphing or KML export.

Hi everybody. I posted on the Facebook group, but someone there suggested I try the mailing list instead…
I’m putting a TeleMini in a nosecone for a 24mm rocket that I’m hoping to break the TRA G-motor record with. There isn’t enough room in the nosecone for anything bigger than the TeleMini, but it looks like there will be just enough room for a separate little GPS. Is there a way to feed the TeleMini a NMEA stream & have it send GPS coordinates over its telemetry? It looks like several of the STM32's pins are accessible....I'm ok writing some code to make it happen.
Thanks,
-Bryan
Got a Telemetrum 2.0 S/N 1282 a few years ago, flew several times, everything has worked OK.
Lately, I can't get the Telemetrum into PAD mode, whether horizontal, vertical, or upside down.
I can get it into PAD mode by powering it up, swinging it in a circle not too vigorously, then stopping as soon as I get the Morse "P".
Suspect that the acceleration sensor has drifted a little. Is there a way to get into the code and change a constant?

Lou Goldring and I both had trouble exporting GPS data to .kml. In my case,
the data file was from a TeleGPS, looked reasonable in the TeleGPS Windows
app, and appeared to export correctly to .cvs. However, the .kml export
produced a zero-length file. If it helps, I can get details of Lou's
problem, although I suspect they're the same issue.
Keith and Bdale, I know you're both still at Airfest - I'm not in any
particular hurry to resolve this. It was good to see you, and have safe
trips home.
