I recently purchased a third Telemetrum and I am having issues with it.
When I use the tele dongle and click on the flight mode tab I can get the
system to show GPS lock but cannot get out of the startup state. It will
also not show the battery voltage or either of the igniter voltages. My
other 2 telemetrums work just fine. Has anyone seen this before and have a
solution?
Thanks,
Tim
Hi Guys,
The antenna pad on my TM V2 was ripped off the board during a hard landing
last month. My plan is to epoxy the pad back onto the board and then solder
a thin wire from the output of C177/U174 to the antenna wire. I've also
thought that converting the board to an SMA connector might be a more
rugged solution.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Chris
Has anyone had a problem installing version 1.8 of the ALTOS software? I am
trying to update my version but after installing and trying to run I get the
following error.
Registry Key Software\JavaSoft\Java Run Time Environment\CurrentVersion 1.8
but 1.7 is required
I have update my JRE to see if that was the problem but still no luck. It
looks like it expects an older version of the JRE.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Tim,
With Airfest questions coming up soon I have started working with my all my Telemetrums and have some questions.
1. With the popularity at Airfest of the Telemetrum I do not want to be on the same channel as others, even though I know you can. Last year someone was upset at a friend of mine because he came up on the same channel. I know you can add/change channels, is there a good rule of thumb of what frequencies to use and not use?
2. Using the Telebt and AltosDroid software I do not see My Lat and My lon on the Pad tab but I do see it on all the others. Is this correct.
3. Any reason I cannot fire the igniters using the AltosDroiD software but I can fire them using the AltOS software? I have the AV bay in the same orientation for both. When I do to the idle mode and select fire igniters everything is greyed out.
Thanks,
Tim
