That's a great question! CC'ing our mailing list with my answer so
it'll be archived. And given that, I'll throw in a few other thoughts
about the accelerometers on our boards while I'm typing.
The only visible difference would be the markings on the Freescale
accelerometer part itself, which is U3:
MMA2201 is 40G
MMA2202 is 50G (default)
MMA2204 is 100G
MMA2301 is 200G

I've had a couple of questions about TeleMetrum availability in my inbox
today, so here's a quick update.
There is still at least one starter kit available from my web store with
a TeleMetrum v1.1 board. I may be able to put another kit or two
together as I finish up turning on and testing the last few boards that
didn't come up perfectly the first time. These will ship with the
bypass cap and reset controller updates that are part of v1.2 already
installed.

TeleMetrum v1.2 production is underway at our assembler, and we expect
the boards to ship on or about the 19th of December. If all goes well
in turn-on and testing of the initial lot, there should be more starter
kits available from my web store and Apogee before the end of December.
The price will still be $400 for a TeleMetrum Starter Kit.
Meanwhile, stock on TeleMini starter kits and most other items is good,
feel free to ask me if there's something you need for a project this
winter that's showing as out of stock in my web store and I'll try to
help.
Regards,
Bdale
